Tanforan RISE & RESIST Protest

SFJACL attended the Rise & Resist protest at the Tanforan Assembly Center in San Bruno, California, organized by Tsuru for Solidarity. The protest drew parallels between the mistreatment of Japanese Americans and the current violence and incarceration faced by immigrants. SFJACL showed solidarity with immigrants’ mistreatment by ICE, among other related issues.
