Oshogatsu Festival

SFJACL volunteered at the San Francisco’s 55th Japanese New Year Festival Oshogatsu Matsuri, welcoming the Year of the Horse at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center of Northern California. There were activities such as mochitsuki rice pounding, shamisen performance, children’s activities, vendors, and local Japanese American organizations, including JACL, tabling.
