Earth Day event at NJAHS

SFJACL showed support for the Earth Day Poetry and Performance “Planting a seed in Japantown,” which was hosted by the Japan Cultural District in partnership with the National Japanese American Historical Society. Poet Mason Granger, Storyteller Brenda Aoki, and Artist Lior Ben-Hur were featured at the event. Seba Chang of the Japantown Task Force stated, “I am very grateful. It’s special to see an event that is truly more than the sum of its parts. The performers all brought unique events that built on each other. The audience and communities that came together did the same.”
