SFJACL hosted its 2025 Annual Members Meeting on July 27. The event featured a panel of experts discussing current political issues, including Professor Bill Hing of the University of San Francisco Law School, Executive Director Dean Ito Taylor of API Legal Outreach, and SF Rising Co-Director Celi Tamayo-Lee. The panel examined immigration issues at both the national and local levels, including their impact on Japantown, and offered recommendations for advocacy and community action.
